Occupying a prominent dual-lot corner site in Shailer Park, this 27-unit residential development offers a considered mix of one, two, and three bedroom apartments.

While the local planning scheme permits up to six storeys, complex subterranean conditions and water table constraints necessitated a strategic pivot. By transitioning from a proposed high-density model to a refined medium-density footprint with a single-level basement, the project achieved critical commercial viability without compromising design integrity.

Sensitively responding to its circa-1960s suburban context, the architectural form presents a light, transparent, and non-invasive street presence. Visual articulation is achieved through a carefully curated light colour palette and contrasting textural facades, which successfully break down the building's scale.

Prioritising inclusivity, all ground-floor apartments are designed to meet accessible, liveable housing standards. At the street level, the development actively engages the public realm; the integration of a commercial restaurant, café, and resident gym activates the ground floor, fostering community connection and seamlessly opening the building up to the surrounding streetscape.
