Project Description

This purpose built medical centre is conceived as a flexible, contemporary healthcare facility supporting a diverse range of medical and allied health uses. Arranged over multiple levels, the building accommodates multi tenanted healthcare occupancies, including medical specialists, allied health providers and professional services, within a 9A classification

Large, open plan floor plates provide adaptable tenancy layouts, allowing for efficient planning and long term flexibility as clinical requirements evolve. Three levels of parking are integrated within the overall building mass, ensuring functional separation between public, clinical and service access while maintaining a compact urban footprint.

At ground level, a city style zero lot boundary condition establishes a strong street presence. A continuous awning defines the pedestrian edge and reinforces weather protection, while extensive glazing maximises transparency and daylight to internal spaces. Upper levels utilise generous glazing paired with integrated sun shading devices to moderate solar gain and enhance internal comfort.

Architectural Collaborative delivered this project to completion following a development application completed by Rothelowman.
